Freelance Non-Union Stage Hands

ArtsRock, a non-profit 501c3 arts organization, is looking for individuals who are available to help on an ad-hoc basis with various shows, concerts and events throughout the year in Rockland County, NY. Duties include pre- and post-show set-up and take-down of platforms, sets, lighting, music and sound gear. There may also be occasional opportunities to run shows as a stage manager.

Compensation – $20 an hour and/or community service hours for qualified students.

Box Office

Use ArtsRock's ticketing system to sell tickets at the door and help check in guests at the door. Basic understanding of web-based applications is needed. Training provided.

Flyer Distribution Specialist

Car and clean driving record required.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, is specifically responsible for flyer distribution throughout Rockland, Westchester, and Bergen Counties. Must have a clean driving record and be outgoing and personable to expand the number of locations where flyers are placed. Pay is New York minimum wage + mileage calculated at the Federal Reimbursement Rate.
